Fire safety

Following a visit from a fire engineer, we have two new fire extinguishers in the hall.

New signs let people know how to use the extinguishers and what to do in the event of a fire.

The fire equipment will be serviced on an annual basis, and a fire risk assessment forms part of our ongoing maintenance of the hall.

John Mitchell has kindly allowed us to use land at the back of his garage office as an assembly point. He has asked us to stress again to parents that they should use the car park or the main road for parking and walk the short distance down Charter Avenue to and from the hall. On no account should parents use the garage forecourt for turning or parking.
